A Venezuelan native, Daniel has been living in Buenos Aires a year, and has already made headlines for Doopler Magazine becoming an object of study for the lens of Armando Frezze, and being featured in the pages of Frezze’s photography book “Into the Black”.
Dan, 24 years old, says, the experience of being photgraphed gave him a new perspective of self, as seen through the lenses of the camera and as perceived by others.
Back in Venezuela he used to surf every weekend in the Caribbean Sea, you can see his love for the ocean eternalized on his right arm as geometric waves. This minimal linear abstract tattoo on his naked body, also tells the story of his passion for electronic music, synthetic, aesthetic, minimal, electric.
Dan is an emerging talent in the Bayres electronic music scene. He is currently working on producing his own music, exploring different genres, testing, experimenting with sounds and feelings. His music is a reflection of his process and ultimately, the beat that makes you enjoy the moment, and get on the dance floor. You can sample a taste of his music on soundcloud.
When he is not working on his music, his meditating, or mixing both of them together, he refers to electronic music as “active meditation, where everything and nothing, silence and chaos coexist simultaneously”.
