Fabro Tranchida is a 28 years old Argentinian visual artist. He lives and works in Buenos Aires. You can discover his creativity in an array of mediums including, photography, sketching, graphics, and/or video installations. His unique perspective on youth, masculinity and beauty, can be appreciated not only on his work but also on his appearance..
Fabro draws inspiration from his everyday life: his friends, skating, breakdance, hip hop, and literature (from Pier Paolo Pasolini to the likes of Mark Twain). Sketching is directly connected to skating, since he repurposes old skateboards by painting them and turning them into art pieces, giving them a second life.
He likes to be around others that share his passion for the visual arts. However, skating and hanging out with his friends, serve as main inspiration for his work. He can relax and clear his mind, while observing his favorite themes: males, youth, and the quest for self identity.
A published writer, he also teaches History of Culture at the National University of Tres de Febrero, several curatorship graduate seminars at the University of Cinema (Buenos Aires) and the Master in Culture Management at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). The rest of the time you can find him creating in his studio in Recoleta or in the skate park.
